1. As you see above, I was sent home with this homemade apple pie. I wasn’t going to argue with that! Apples straight from someone’s backyard in Santa Cruz. It was delicious as always.
2. Attended a free Thunder concert (Soul/Funk). There were approximately 30,000 in attendance that day. What is great is you just show up to the park and find a seat. There are no lines to get into. Free access.
That is the iconic hippie hill in the back there.

3. Used what was available in the kitchen to produce dinner. Keeping up a low spend grocery bill. These zucchini boats were a win. These are stuffed with Italian sausage, pasta sauce and mozzarella. I haven’t been eating as many veggies lately. So it was a nice change.

4. I do take advantage of my sale ads. Especially when I want to keep the grocery bill low. I was able to score 10 giant mangos for $1 each. I foresee some mango sticky rice in my near future.
5. Started another side hustle out of joy. Actually, I made the budget binder for myself and was going to book bind it. But decided I wanted to “Frankenplan” and do a lose leaf binder. That way I can toss in a menu plan section or more savings challenges in it later.
Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
