- I found a nickel on the ground. I never find change when walking around. But this day was my lucky day. Upon exiting the car, there was a shiny nickel waiting for me to pocket it. I felt pretty lucky the rest of the day.
- I had a ton of fun with my family all together this week. I realized what made San Francisco special back in the 90s when I first lived here. It was the fun with my cousins. And this time together with them, partners and grown kids. That magic was once again relived.
- Went to the museum. One of my favorite past times. The picture above is one of two that I favor. The look on Ms. Maria Anne Fitzherbert’s face resonate with me often. I really don’t know much about her. I must go look!
- Finished paying back $20,000 that I borrowed from my retirement account back in January. How did I pay it back so quickly? Laser focused, cut out the consumeristic fun, kept my grocery budget low, and assigned every additional cent to pay it back.
- Received a bag of smaller sized apples. I will likely make an apple betty in individual ramekins, try my hand at making apple butter and eat them whole (especially now that I am back to focusing on my health & well being).
What frugal things have you been up to this week?
