Shopping at Trader Joe’s is a a great place to shop with reasonable prices and delicious food. The store is well-organized layout, smaller size compared to traditional supermarkets, and offers a carefully curated selection of products. They sell a great selection of seasonal products, exclusive snacks, and frozen foods, making each trip feel like a treasure hunt.

Especially if you like 🎃pumpkin-everything. Trader Joe’s is a definite place to shop seasonally.

Trader Joe’s employees, known as “crew members,” are also known for being friendly, helpful, and often engaging in conversation with customers. They have offered me so many recommendations for new or interesting products. They also let me know when a new shipment of an out-of-stock product is coming available.

Trader Joe’s offers competitive prices without sacrificing quality. Most of the products sold are private label, allowing the company to keep costs low while maintaining control over the ingredients and production standards. This means that even gourmet or organic items are typically priced lower than similar products at other grocery stores. It’s shopping without the hassle of clipping coupons or chasing deals. Allowing you to save money with ease.

About Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken

You can find Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken in the frozen section of the store. Each package contains five servings and costs just $4.99. Get this, I do not like ordering orange chicken when we go out to restaurants because I find it too sweet and swimming in sauce. Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange sauce is just enough to coat the chicken generously and does not overload on the sweetness.

How I Prepare and Serve the Chicken

I keep at least two bags of the Mandarin Orange chicken in my freezer for a quick and easy dinner (or lunch!) on days when I really just want some #lazycooking.

To prepare them, I bake the chicken in 400* degree oven until the chicken is cooked through. Then I toss in a wide pan or my wok, pour the sauce over and let it heat up until the sauce caramelizes a bit. You can also heat the sauce in the microwave, but you will miss out on the caramelization (such a delicious word).

I haven’t tried cooking the chicken in the air fryer, but I am sure it would be pretty simple to figure the temperature and duration to cook it at.

Then I serve the Mandarin Orange Chicken with a pot of rice and sprinkle everything with sesame seeds and cut green onions. If I am trying to balance my nutrition, then will add some seasoned broccoli. Sometimes I also switch the white rice for brown rice. It’s such a great combination.

Tip: Trader Joe’s South African Smoke seasoning blend is really good on the broccoli. It’s ingredients are paprika, sea salt, garlic and basil. OMG! Ebay has the seasoning on sale for $67! 😲 #sidehustle.

In just about 20 minutes, I have a delicious dinner that tastes better than a restaurant meal. And that’s why I never leave Trader Joes with this chicken dinner in my cart.
