There is motivation to be had when watching a Personal Finance YouTube video. Whether that is the host celebrating a savings goal reach, to sticking to the month’s budget, to finding ways to cut down on the expenses, or listening to how others people conquered the challenging aspects of their finances. Here are 5 of my favorite Personal Finance YouTube channels to share with you and why I like the channel:

Alexa On A Budget (2.62K subs)

Alexa went from building an emergency fund to becoming debt-free and now saving for a down payment on her first home. She is well known on TikTok and Instagram. Now she is creating long form content on YouTube and I am here for it.

Rebecca’s Quest to FIRE (3.82K subs)

While Rebecca’s journey blends personal finance with her Quest to FIRE, she does a deep dive into her budgets with real numbers, her investing journey, and any other personal finance tips and tricks she learns along the way. Her content is easy to follow while offering a wealth of information.

Personal Finance with Leila – Debt Over It (36.2K subs)

Leila is there to empower and educate people to improve their finances by budgeting, tracking their spending, getting out of debt, saving rather than spending, and believing they can become financially free and stable. Her videos follows that belief and I find her savings and investing focus to be inspirational.

Budget Girl (98.8K subs)

In her own words, Sarah Wilson’s channel is all about ‘how to empower yourself to manage your money on any income, pay off debt and build the life of your dreams on less’. I have followed Budget Girl’s journey both on YouTube and Instagram. While I do not plan to invest in real estate, I enjoy following her journey to add real estate to her financial portfolio.

I Will Teach You to be Rich (813K subs)

Ramit Sethi believes you can spend extravagantly on the things you love as long as you cut costs mercilessly on the things you don’t. I find this approach healthy in the personal finance world and utilize his Conscious Spending plan percentages in my own budget. I enjoy Ramit’s ability to help people overcome the psychological challenges to better their financial situation. Many of times, I can resonate with the interviews.
